BSK Fashion Bags is a luggage  and accessories trading company that integrates production, souring, customization and sales; started in 2008, with a factory area of 6,000 square meters and about 500 employees. Offering a choice of private label brands in addition to wholesale, OEM, while having an amazing price/performance ratio.

It all began in 2008 when two entrepreneurs from different sides of the globe created BSK Fashion. Originally a Guangzhou-based trading company in bags and accessories, BSK soon transformed into a goods manufacturing solution. Today, BSK operates production locations in China and Myanmar and manufactures over three million bags per year.

Before: company was using only excel and a dedicated design software for paper patterns.

WMS, Accounting, Sales, Purchase were all made on excel.

Main Challenge

The team was completely new to centralized systems like ERP.

The business flow requires a large number of products to be designed on demand, very few repeat orders.

Solution

And Integration of Odoo Enterprise for managing Sales, Purchase, Accounting, WMS, Shipping and multicompany setup (China, Myanmar, HK, Netherlands). Also added the management of a small accessory shop (retail) with Odoo POS.

Products are highly personalized, as well as multiple vouchers, forms and custom « calculators » used to estimate costing.

Result

The company only uses Odoo since the go-live (no more excel), with a custom PLM process managing the new design of products down to the creation of BOMs.

The engineer design software has been integrated to Odoo in order to minimize manual data input.

We have connected their Odoo to 3 different online stores, one of which is a logistics warehouse api in the Netherlands that manages the operations in China.
