Al-Nassaj Upholstery Fabrics

Leader in textile retailing and manufacturing, present in 14 countries.
Using Odoo Enterprise since 2020, all departments are connected.

We were using a patchwork of industry specific systems which did not communicate with each other. Each department had to communicate using Excel over multiple channels, multiplying human mistakes and lack of visibility. We made the choice to integrate all our departments and activities on one system, thus found Odoo.

Majorbird helped us to smoothly overcome the many questions and obstacles to this vision. Their team identified roadblocks and directed us to a safe path to a robust system. Today we use Odoo for each branches and department of our group, from sales to purchase and manufacturing, Human resources with payroll & attendance, but also accounting. Thanks to the team !

Before Odoo

  • Patchwork of systems: Used 3 different software for accounting, WMS, industry specific MES.
  • Manual work: The teams were mostly reporting and communicating with excel files for every tasks related to master data, inventory, production, which created reporting issues and double-input in multiple departments.
  • Unclear responsibilities: the company being quite large, each department was functioning almost independently with their own set of tools. The interfaces between department were not clearly defined leading to limited responsibility in case of error.
  • For the management: reporting on time was difficult, and solving inconsistencies was hard since the data was mostly based on human work.
